Let’s play Sunshine Hop.
Walk the number trail, hop the pattern, or remember a number sequence. A bright everyday movement game.

Keep the floor clear and dry. Check that the sticker edges are flat. Choose movements that feel comfortable and let children take turns.
Walk the sunshine trail
- Start just below 1. Walk onto 1, then visit 2 and 3, continuing through every number to 10.
- Say each number as you reach it. Step off at the top and walk back alongside the sticker.
- Take turns. Finish after everyone has made three journeys.
Hop the pattern
- Use this mode only when hopping already feels comfortable. Begin below 1.
- Hop on one foot onto each single square. On a paired row, land with one foot in each square.
- At 10, step off and walk back alongside the game. No jumping turn is needed.
- If you lose balance, put both feet down and restart when ready. Complete three comfortable journeys.
Remember my numbers
- A caller chooses two neighbouring numbers; the mover walks to them in order.
- Repeat the sequence and add one nearby number each turn. Walking is always allowed.
- Try to remember five together. Give a clue if someone forgets, then swap roles.
